III - Final Course

The third year of the professional training concentrates on the individual possibilities and distinctive approaches of each of the students when creating a painting.

Thus far most of the attention has been paid to covering materials like acrylic and oil paint. This course will concentrate on watercolour painting as a specialism.

Drawing from a model

The programme will be supplemented by a half day of drawing/painting from a model. The aim is to provide training rather than teaching. The emphasis will be on expression rather than on technical construction (that is assumed to have been mastered)

Atmospheric painting

Painting from the imagination
