Overview

There are three consecutive programmes: the Basic Training, the Specialized Training and the Master Training.

The Basic Training is a preparatory programme. It takes one half day a week for a year.
Candidates are prepared as well as possible for the admission requirements for the Specialized Training; following this preparatory programme is not a guarantee of automatic admission to the Specialized Training. The Basic Training is open to everyone; only some light admission requirements are applied. There is room for two groups of up to 18 students per group.

The Specialized Training takes three years. It is offered in a condensed form consisting of 4 or 5 supervised and 3 unsupervised sessions within two consecutive days per week.

The one or two-year Master Training is structured around Master Classes in the fourth year and guest lecturers in the fifth, as well as reflecting on and feedback on work done in your own studio.

In principle it is possible to graduate after the fourth year, on condition that enough exhibitable work of the required level has been produced. If that is not the case, the fifth year should remedy this under supervision.

The Specialized Training and the Master Training may only be followed after an entrance examination. Each year there is room for one group of no more than 20 students.
